In recent years, we’ve noticed—especially on Amazon and Temu—that the market is increasingly flooded with supposedly “very cheap” offers from sellers based directly in China. If you look only at the price, such offers are tempting. However, you usually end up paying more overall due to lower quality and shorter lifespan, because you’ll need a new laser after just a few years, or the flag detection leaves much to be desired. We have tested many of these golf lasers ourselves. Furthermore, most sellers do not specialize in golf, but rather market standard laser rangefinders for golfers, among other uses. And this is precisely the crux of the matter, because flag detection (which we call FlagFinder technology) is particularly important for golfers (read more about it here).
