FlagFinder

TheFlagFinder makes itmucheasierto locate the flag, as it identifies the flag against the background. This technology helps you hit the flag with ease, even if there are trees or bushes behind the green. You can choose from three different targeting options.

Vibration

Thevibration provideshaptic feedback and helps you lock onto the target. Once the Birdie has locked onto the target, it vibrates briefly and indicates the distance to the flag. This gives the player immediate feedback and allows them to feel confident as they prepare for their shot.

Scan Mode

With thescan mode, you can quickly and easily measure distances to various objects. By holding down the button, you can determine the distance to the flag, the front of the green, a bunker, or a tree in a matter of seconds.

Slope Mode

Slope model with elevation measurement. The actual distance you need to play, taking the elevation difference into account, is displayed. For example, when playing uphill, a shot to a flag 100 meters away should be played as if it were 110 meters. The slope function can be turned on and off with a button and is therefore permitted in tournaments.

Das Gerät überzeugt durch seine Einfachheit und Zuverlässigkeit.
Die Bedienung und das Setup sind gut und logisch aufgebaut. Kein versehnetliches Verstellen auf der Runde o.Ä.. Sehr guter Algorithmus zur Slope Kompensation. Gerade in diesen Punkten unterscheidet sich der Birdie 1300 von billigeren Wettbewerbsprodukten. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen!

Der Golflaser Birdie 1300 Slope ist mein erster Entfernungsmesser dieser Art.
Das kleine, handliche Gerät liegt sehr gut in der Hand und das Handling damit ist sehr einfach.
Für mich sehr wichtig (auf Übungsrunden und auch auf der Driving Range) ist die „Slope-Funktion“. Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich für mich ist, um wieviel mehr oder weniger Meter ich für uphill/downhill Lagen einplanen muss.
Je nach Entfernungen sind mehrere Messungen nötig, wenn die Fahne vor Büschen oder Bäumen steht. Scheint bei anderen Anbietern allerdings ähnlich zu sein.
Das Hardcase ist zwar ein guter und sicherer Schutz für das gut verarbeitete Gerät, allerdings verwende ich dies während der Runde nicht. Ist mir persönlich zu viel „Fummelei“.
Zusammengefasst: Ein prima Produkt, zuverlässig, genau mit einem perfekten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
