My wife still has the Birdie 500 (works flawlessly and reliably), and now I have the Birdie 1300 Pro SLOPE: it's super in the hand, fast object detection and measurement (the choice with the different crosshairs is great!). And at a very fair price, what more could you want? In addition, expert and nice mail contact before the order, fast dispatch processing and delivery to packing stations -> this is a contemporary, competent and friendly online golf shop.

First of all: The delivery was incredibly fast. I have used the device on the winter rounds and I am extremely satisfied. It lies well in the hand and the measuring of the flag and/or to obstacles goes very fast. The price-performance ratio is absolutely TOP. I can only recommend.

The Golf Rangefinder is compact and handy. Measurements are okay, just compared to my Garmin S20. I bought the laser in addition to the Garmin because I don't get any distance information from the Garmin on the range and the chipping green. Also on the lap I use the laser within 100 m to determine the distance more exactly.
Attention! 6x magnification means that you have to have a steady hand to hit the flagpole from distances greater than 100m. As I have a restless hand, I need several attempts, especially when there is no wind and the flag is hanging down. For me a 5x magnification would probably be better!
Another point of improvement is the included case. It is of high quality and feels good, but you have to open the zipper completely on both sides to remove the device. The zipper still interferes. Here I wished for another solution where no zipper is in the way during handling. Hence a * point deduction.
In view of the attractive price and the quality delivered, however, a clear purchase recommendation.

After some consideration between a GPS clock and a laser, I decided on the Birdie 1300 Pro Slope, because I'm also interested in the practice distances on the range and so I'm more flexible. The instrument is very easy to operate and quickly delivers plausible measurement results. The laser is not dependent on daylight, but you just have to be able to see enough through the eyepiece yourself. The flag is well recognized. The device is quite small, but still fits well in the hand. The Slope function first displays the angle (+/- for up/down) and then the distance incl. altitude difference. It's exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully providing long and faithful service.

Fast shipping. Tested directly on a newly constructed country road. Distance between delineators 50 m each. Measurement 50 m: 50 m, 100 m: 99 m, 150 m: 149 m. All standing, holding both hands measured due to motion blur. Delineators have reflector, therefore suitable measuring object. Result: Absolutely perfect measuring device!
PS: Passing cars have immediately braked to guide speed, have probably suspected something else there.
