Personal launch monitor indoor and outdoor
Use the ES B1 in winter or at home indoors. This makes training fun! You can also train with the Launch Monitor on the driving range and complete many challenges.

Good price-performance ratio. Initial tests have shown that the measured values correspond well to reality, especially for clean shots. Unfortunately, this accuracy is poorer with poorly hit balls, e.g. topped or skewed balls. By exporting the data, you can evaluate and analyze your shots even better, e.g. via Excel. I make a note of the imperfect shots in advance (the number of shots is counted per session) and can delete them later in the analysis.

Dear René, thank you for your review. It's a shame that it only got 3 stars, although your review is not bad at all. It can't be helped that radar devices can't calculate 100% of very poorly hit balls. But these shots should not be of great relevance either. We have more on this topic and why this is the case in this article described. Your RocketGolf Team

I'm totally thrilled.... The training makes sense. Unfortunately, I have an Android smartphone and the app is not yet available here, but the values can also be easily read off the display.
Julian -
Dear Björn, thanks for the feedback and enjoy your training! RocketGolf Team

First of all, many thanks to GOLFLASER for the uncomplicated and fast processing.
Having tested other monitors last year and currently owning and testing three different models in the men's team, I have to say that the ESB1 does a great job for its cost.
Only as a "fast swinger" (100 to 105 km/h) does the device have problems and displays significantly higher carry values. The spin also seems a little too high to me. But again: SUPER for the price
Julian -
Hello Daniel, thanks for the feedback! Please install the latest firmware update via the app. With the driver, the carry width was previously inadvertently specified as the roll width. RocketGolf Team

Unfortunately still no app on Android... but it's still in the description. This is disappointing and at the very least misleading.
Julian -
Dear customer! We understand that the Android app was due to be released at the end of 2020. However, the manufacturer is experiencing delays, probably due to high demand. We hope that the app will be released soon and ask for your understanding. Your RocketGolf Team

The device fulfills almost all my wishes. The specifications are reasonable compared to a much more expensive system.
In my personal opinion, the display of the "view view" is a negative aspect. Something could be improved here.
I rate the service of Golf Rangefinder with 5 stars and a +.
Julian -
Dear Mr. Rechkemmer, thank you very much for the feedback! A little tip: the new version of the app is coming out soon and it's going to be great. You can look forward to it! Your RocketGolf Team

The device works well and reliably. Even indoors you get almost the same results as with the Garmin G80 Approach, for example. I think it does an even better job on the range. For me, it's an ideal training supplement, especially at this time of year.
The app is helpful but still needs to be improved. The ESB1 is a much better alternative than the SC 200 or SC 400.

The appliance is good and fulfills its purpose. Good price-performance ratio. Completely sufficient for training. Easy connect to phone or tablet. Improvement of impact momentum, distance control, etc.

After the first use (on the range and in the garden into the net) I am satisfied. I was able to follow the distances well on the range and the displayed values are pretty accurate.
However, the direction indication is not reliable. Although I had a few hooks and slices, the B1 always showed me "straight".
I use my iPad to display the values as the display in the device is not legible enough for me. The app displays the values very well.
However, the app still has a lot of room for improvement, especially when I switch to "View". Otherwise, the download function for subsequent evaluation is very good.
I had asked a few questions in the run-up to the purchase. These were answered promptly and thoroughly.

Thank you for your feedback! The app is constantly being improved by the manufacturer. You are also welcome to send us improvements and we will forward them directly. RocketGolf Team

The ESB1 is really a great training tool! It measures "almost" every stroke and you automatically try to hit "cleaner"!
Unfortunately, he is not able to measure and analyze the short game (chipping), which is so important!
Nevertheless, I/we no longer want to do without him!
Karl-Gustaf Richter (Verified buyer) -
I like the device.
The strokes are usually recognized well and the lengths seem to be correct.
The operating instructions are very thin. Needs to be better.
App installation on iPhone very easy.
Why the message "Select an Accessory" appears when you start the app without a Bluetooth connection to the ESB1 is very annoying.
To connect the app to the device, you must first switch on ESB1. Then open the settings on the iPhone, select Bluetooth and connect the ESB1.
In my case, the message always appears after the first stroke:
"Unit Mismatch, Device do not match with the selected unit. ..."
Both devices, iPhone app and ESB1, use meters as the measure of length. Seems to prefer working with yards!
Club loft parameter is difficult to enter. Would be easier to enter via the app.
Parameter MDE 1 should normally be set to zero. I accidentally set the value to 1 once and the result with the driver was devastating. Carry was only approx. 100 meters, otherwise approx. 190 meters.
According to my "User Manual", the distance from the ball to the monitor is 5ft, i.e. approx. 1.5 meters. You then have 30 cm to the front and 30 cm to the back to place the ball. There should be 15 cm to the left and right of the target line (i.e. a total of 30 cm = 1 foot)
In the Session Logs menu in the app, the values are either km/h / meters or mph / yards. You can change this dynamically in the settings. Distance is always total distance, regardless of what is set in the settings.
Menu item Averages, here the values are always mph and yards. Settings values are ignored!
It's great that you can forward the session logs by e-mail.
The units of measurement can also be changed dynamically via Settings.
Another nice feature is that the stroke lengths are communicated acoustically via the iPhone.

Dear Mr. Richter, thank you very much for this detailed feedback, we were very pleased and we will improve the points of criticism! We are currently working on a detailed manual and will pass on all other points about the app to the developers.

The ESB1 fully meets my expectations. 👍
The presentation in your competent store was decisive for the purchase. The connection from the i-phone to the monitor worked immediately and the measured values are clearly displayed in the app. If you send the data to your own e-mail address, you can process the data in a csv file (Numbers) or in Excel. There is still room for improvement in the operating instructions - but with a bit of playfulness you can get to grips with it. Without a Bluetooth connection, the app always requires the connection (select an accessory) in session mode - this is a bit annoying. The distance from the ball to the monitor is specified as approx. 1.3 m. You will soon find the right position where the device measures reliably (driver 1.3 m, LW a little closer).
I compared the measurement results on the driving range with reality and with a flightscope and was very positively surprised - absolutely sufficient. The ESB1 also works very well in a tee box with a ball flight distance of approx. 3 m.
In summary, an ideal training device for an ambitious golfer who has not yet given up hope of improving.

The device has fully convinced me and I have already taken it with me to several training sessions. Unfortunately, I don't have an Apple device and can't download the app. Maybe there is another way to save my data, but I haven't gotten around to researching it yet.

So far, so good. The bag is now included, but so far I can't find an app for Android... I would like to be able to display the data on my Samsung tablet, I often find references to an app for both systems, but I have only found something from Apple to download... What is the status of things with regard to Android?

Your store is great.
Great service.
I can't say anything about the ESB1 yet

The ES B1 Lauch monitor is simply superb. I measured the strokes with a laser and it fits. You have the option of saving all your strokes via the app and then printing them out. Carry distance, total distance and all other values.
An easy way to determine your distances and train even better.
The device is placed behind the player, so there is no danger of hitting the device.
I think it's a bit of a shame that the device doesn't come with a bag.
This is the only shortcoming so far :-)
Julian -
Many thanks for the feedback! We also think it's a bit of a shame that the manufacturer doesn't offer a bag. But the B1 is small and robust, so it doesn't need any special protection.
